Abruzzo’s wholesome nature affects the regional gastronomy in a very strong way. The typical products, coming from the hills, the coast, the mountains, the lakes, constitute the main ingredients of a very tasteful cooking .nowadays Abruzzo’s traditional gastronomy has been revaluated by experts and it is very much appreciated by the tourists. As to the wine, Abruzzo’s typical wine-growing are: the Trebbiano, which produces white wines and the Montepulciano, which produces red wines. Abruzzo’s DOC wines are more and more appreciated and in the last years they have conquered prices and international acknowledgements. The regional DOC wines’ list includes: the Montepulciano, with its dry and strong taste; the Trebbiano, with its dry and soft fragrance ; the Controguerra , a white wine ,produced in Teramo’ s area, with a peculiar taste.
